I do want to mention everything I like about it in a comment, but you do make that impossible!
Edgeworth's cameo fit so well in there, especially since he did play a minor role to the plot. And I approve very much of you making Clams more important - I can see Polly and her getting along so well, and their interaction enhances Apollo's isolation and the underlying tension, and also she mirrors Apollo's own experience when they both weren't under Kristoph's influence anymore.
How you wrote the time Kristoph got sexual with Apollo had this perfect feeling of wrong to it, and the strangeness of him suddenly speaking German added to it (and I did like the detail very much) - it was as well-written as the transition between their life before and then when they had started having sex.
I did love how the trial and the scene when Apollo punched Phoenix fit so well in the story.
Hahaha, Phoenix made me laugh so much! Hobo!Phoenix really is the exact opposite to Kristoph - and you managed to get into his weird mind. Happy Birthday, Apollo! :D It's a good ending - after such an amount of subtle tension, it offers a good amount of relief.
All in all, one can really tell you do love the characters very much, and I do like your version of how they might be connected! A lot of things of this story made it to my head canon about both Kristoph and Apollo, I can't help myself, it seems so perfect.
Also, I'm glad I could amuse you, Fräulein Foxy! (I might have used Herr Foxy, but the alliteration was so appealing...)
