Uhhh. I think these sketches are kind of ugly. But I am trying! Right now I still only use the PAINTBRUSH TOOL. All on one layer. You can probably do other things with Photoshop, but I don't know what they are. Photoshop is the enemy! And with that attitude, I'm probably not going to get much better.

I think she asked for this just to torment me. OK, the concept behind this sketch is that spirit Zhao is lonely, so he bothers Iroh with his--uh, spirit needs? I don't want to think about it too much. Probably I shouldn't have messed around with the contrast. But I did!




Secondly, for armistice_day:


This is a drawing from the Jetkka AU! Which you have never heard of before and will likely never hear about again. Well, maybe I'll draw another picture from it. I had lots more fun drawing this one, which is probably evident.



They're supposed to be in their twenties. The real irony of this picture was that I started out with the intent to use bright colors! I then promptly did no such thing.

Jetkka--definite win. Not as mcuh as Iroh/Zhao (yes, I like Iroh, lol; he grew on me, over the course of the series. His nephew, too, but... lol)

Iroh regrets having traveled to the spirit world for sure by now XD You suffered through your task admirably!

What version of PS do you use? If its higher than 7 you should try fooling with the pressure/ line thickness sensitivity option or those other ones that I'm too lazy to figure out XD Then when you're a master at it you can teach me! Best plan ever.

Yeah, now Iroh sees the error of his ways! BUT TOO LATE. Haha, and thank you! I tried my best to warm to the subject. I realized too late that younger Iroh and Zhao might have been hotter. Dammit. Maybe next time.

I am using the Photoshop Elements 3 that was packaged with the tablet. Sooo, I'm not sure how that applies.

Haha, yes, I guess the Iroh picture does not take place in the bizarre "Three Dead Guys" AU.

I love Iroh! He's definitely one of my favorites. Well, I love everyone, more or less, but Iroh is high on the list. And I like Jetkka because they'd be one of those fighty couples, which is very cute.
