MORE TABLET PRACTICE

Yes, this journal is an excuse to spam people with tablet practice sketches! Haha, you had no idea!

Although--actually, I had not been planning to do so when I created this journal. It just worked out like that, since I coincidentally got in a practicing mood.

First, more Jet/Sokka. Yes, I know. What is wrong with me? Clearly, everything. Oh, also, since this is my stupidness journal, I will harsh on myself mercilessly! Because that is my favorite thing to do, although my friend Cheryl (a therapist) claims that therapists call that "Stinkin Thinkin", a patently stupid term.


I'm a really bad fan--if I like something, I just slash everyone in sight. All right, that's probably not true. But we'll never really know, since I hardly like anything! I'm so picky, you have no idea.

So here you go:




But then I was all like faaaan art!? I need a change of pace. So armistice_day asked me to draw my character Nelius, and as she bought the tablet for me, I'll pretty much draw whatever she wants with it.




I know I tend to draw men looking a bit effeminate, but that is completely intentional, because I like androgyny. Nelius is supposed to look out-and-out girly, though. However, he has absolutely no idea that this is the case, and he would be indifferent to that fact.

I like to call Nelius "Nelly", but I know he wouldn't like that. It might inspire his "neutral" expression to shift to his "angry" expression! And when that happens, look out!

Tablets are hard :c Your sketches turned out nice though, one doesn't often see such magentas XD

Haha! Yes, you should fear the needle! As should everyone.

Tablets really are hard. And along with the needle, I fear Photoshop! So that's no good. :( But thank you, I'm glad you think they turned out nice.

Also, I SUPPORT MAGENTA.

I think Nelly (my other nickname for him is Né-Né) would probably just raise an eyebrow at that and consider you BENEATH HIS NOTICE. He's good at that!

Thank you! I am trying. I really don't know how people create these beautimous and elegant paintings with Photoshop, because I can only just barely sketch out my crude homo art. :D

One group that I'm in totally (well, almost totally) slashes Jet and Zuko.

I think, after a certain point, I've had a cerebral meltdown. Not only have I started talking about shipping Ozai and Bumi, I have also started debating the merits of a Zuko/Sokka ship. XD It must be the summer weather,

Haha, I love Jet/Zuko like Napoleon loved conquest. Which is a bad comparison, but what I mean is, it will eventually be my undoing!

And--GASP! You mean, there are people who don't like SoZu? I don't even know what to say about that. ;)

Heh. I've seen a picture (can't remember who did it, but I think it was on dA) that had Zuko, Sokka and Aang dancing aruond a cauldron and proclaimed to be the real secret of the Fire Nation.
