I was gonna add, too, saying sorry for such a beautiful, long piece of work is like saying sorry for giving me a million dollars.
And... on state care and the foster system, while there are some good stories to come out of it, I've heard many really disturbing ones. The system here in Australia is far from perfect, and I work with young people who've often seen the less-than-heartwarming side of it, so I don't think you're at all overexaggerating there.
