I haven't posted here in a while, for various reasons, but here, at last, is another Ace Attorney story. I am also working on a second AA story, which will be finished soon, I hope.

Notes: Written for luckykitty, the winner of my charity auction. Spans all the events of the first three games. The last part is set after Bridge to the Turnabout and shortly before the Zak Gramarye case.

Title: Sleepers Wake

Summary: When taking Trucy to Kurain Village for their annual summer vacation, Phoenix is wary. Diego was released from prison earlier in the year and has been living in the valley with Maya and Pearls. Phoenix doesn't know what to expect, and the man he finds in that small mountain town is not the man he remembers from the courtroom. But then, Phoenix is a different person, too.
Notes: Written for gyaku_flash for euphonious_glow. (I really hope you like it!) Set before the events of AJ (by maybe a year or two). Assumes (as I so often do) that Diego was convicted of manslaughter and not murder. Thanks to plutokitty for reading this through for me. All remaining mistakes are mine alone.

I realized that this was the only (finished) story I've written for the kink meme that I haven't posted here, so I thought I would put it up, just to have everything in one place. I wrote this one a while ago.

Ha ha, I always become briefly smitten with the kink meme, then ban myself from going there (for some unimportant reason, which I quickly forget), then return a couple months later. Ah, my internet caprices!

Summary: Miles has long been reluctant to enter into a relationship. Now that he finds himself unexpectedly in the middle of one, he finds it all too easy to remember why he didn't want one in the first place. But it could be that he's mistaken (just this once).
Notes: The request was for asexual Edgeworth in a relationship, explaining himself to his partner but afraid of ruining the relationship. Of the possible suggested partners, Gumshoe struck me as the most hilarious person to put in that particular situation. The OP liked it, so I was super happy about that. Also, I apparently love putting dogs in Ace Attorney stories. Puppies and hugs, that's what it's all about!

Summary: Klavier's so good at being secretive, sometimes Apollo doesn't even realize he's doing it--until he finds out something new about the prosecutor. He'd never thought too hard about what the Gavins' parents might be like, but he's about to uncover the truth.
Notes: Written as a gift for a_rocky_ravine, who wanted something involving either Diego or Colias. This story is actually based on a silly Fan Theory™ of mine, which I know isn't true, but I think it's cute. You can read my explanation for the theory (and see a few doodles) in this post!

Title: In Loco Parentis (1/2) [Part two]

Notes: Written for gyaku_flash for aphephobia. Of course, it's not my intention to demonize the foster care system (even though it has its problems, like any system). This is just about Kristoph, who is not typical in any way, of anything. :) And super special thanks to pandir for helping me with the tiny bit of German in this. Ja, she's the best German language expert I know, nicht wahr? ;3

Notes: Written for the Awesome Bingo I'm doing with plutokitty, for the prompt "adrenaline rush". Even though I love Klavier in canon, and I think he's portrayed as very much a nice guy, I also like the idea of the possibility that he is, in fact, more like his brother than he seems--he's just better at hiding it. Which makes Ema's reaction to him very different from the "girl is annoyed by boy she really secretly likes" thing that it's often portrayed as. (Not that I have any problem with Klavier/Ema, I just like the idea that she could be right to dislike him.) Also, I read something related to this on the kink meme once, so even though I can't entirely recall it and have no links, I should say that this was a bit inspired by that. (Ha ha, and you can also read this story as Ema being totally paranoid, which I also think is funny.)

Notes: Written for gyaku_flash, for arthoniel. Set approximately 1-2 years after Turnabout Memories and 3-4 years before Bridge to the Turnabout, at an unspecified point during Dahlia's incarceration. Kristoph is about 22-23 years old, so Klavier is 14-15 years old. Also includes bonus sketches!
