No, Roland's wings are completely useless for flight of any kind. He does does sort of deserve punishment. He's in a very moral gray area. But I have not yet decided on the crimes he committed. As of course I am still working the details out. And will probably change half of them.
I think there are two groups of villains with different goals... but--again, who can say!
